Celebrate the spirit of autumn right here in Helston with two wonderfully whimsical community activities that everyone can enjoy.
🌾 Harvest Fair Window Competition
Stroll through town and watch Helston come alive with colour, creativity, and Cornish charm. Local shops and residents will be dressing their windows with harvest‑themed displays—scarecrows, pumpkins, autumn leaves, and all the magic of the season.

- Decorate your window with your best harvest display
- Make it bold, bright, rustic, or quirky—your style sets the tone
- Windows will be judged on 4th September
- Prizes for the most creative, most traditional, and most imaginative windows

🐭 Find the Mouse Trail
Cheeky little mice have been spotted scampering around Helston… and finding nice warm windows to hide in!
Families can pick up a trail sheet and hunt for the hidden mice tucked into shop windows around town. Each mouse has a number. Collect them all to complete the trail.
